Meridian Stoves supply and install quality English free standing woodburning and LPG gas stoves, which will provide you with not only sufficient heat for your requirements but also be a focal point of your room. We offer a full service for choosing the right fire, including free home visits and advice for the design of the fireplace using local stone and materials.

Meridian Stoves, which is run by John and Julia Gilburt, has been in Jalon since November 1999 and has already acquired a reputation for quality products, service and workmanship. Most installations have been made in existing chimneys but if you are having a new house built it is the ideal opportunity to design and construct a fireplace around your chosen fire. We stock fires made by Aarrow, Gazco, Stovax, Villager and Yeoman, which we consider to be the best of British fires, providing a wide range of designs and heat output capacities.

We also supply a range of evaporative cooling systems, by Breezair, which were developed in Australia and are cheaper to run and install than air conditioning and less environmentally damaging. We have portable units suitable for separate rooms or fixed units that will cool the whole house.

To complete the picture we have in stock a range of decorative brass and ceramic oil lamps, which will grace any naya or dinner party table.
