John Anthony, ex BBC session guitarist, can now offer this wonderful facility. With two hours tuition a day you can benefit from his many years experience in both performing and teaching the guitar.

John Anthony started playing the classical guitar at the age of 11. By the age of 17 he was giving concerts and recitals. At the age of 19 he moved on to the electric guitar, thus completing all the musical styles on the instrument. The early part of his career was spent working on cruise liners. His travels took him all over the world including Australia, America, the Far East and the Caribbean. Upon returning to England he took up a seven year residency in a nightclub and was also a session guitarist at the BBC Pebble Mill Studios and with the Midland Radio Orchestra. Throughout his performing career he has also taught the guitar, some of his pupils have gone on to be professionals. John moved to Spain in 1989 and has since worked on the Costa Blanca playing all types of guitar but mainly Spanish Classical Guitar. During this time he has recorded various albums including a Spanish & Latin, a Classical & Latin, a Jazz Trio and most recently acoustic jazz guitar double tracked in the style of Django Reinhardt. John enjoys composing his own classical music "when the mood takes me." In 1994 he published a book containing some of his favourite pieces he has composed.

Set in the 'real' Spain you will be able to enjoy playing the guitar with a professional guitarist however you will also be able to get out and about and really discover this beautiful part of Spain. Being only 10miles from the coast you can relax on the great blue flag beaches or travel inland and see typical Spanish village life. Sample the local cuisine in the many restaurants within walking distance and wine produced right on the doorstep in the bodegas.

Accommodation fully inclusive with en-suite shower room is provided with continental breakfast served each day. "Guitar Coaching Breaks" are offered to a maximum of two pupils per week ensuring you can benefit and improve your playing as much as possible. Within your weeks stay a visit to the local Spanish guitar factory will be included.
