The Town of Al Moradi Al Moradi is more of a village than an actual town. Subjected to a disastrous earthquake in 1829, the village had to construct safer buildings and create the necessary plans to minimize effects of any future natural disasters. The Casino, Church of San Andrés, and the Ayuntamiento are a few of the interesting architectural features in the village. The Cortés Theatre is also worth checking out for its plays. Also nearby is the Segura River and rich farmland where you see artichokes being grown. |
